As we move further down our rankings, we arrive at Bookmaker. This is a sport book that seems to have more of a professional player following, but obviously recreational players are welcomed as well. It's a solid book with an equally solid reputation, however it is not without its downsides.

One of the stronger aspects of Bookmaker is the sheer number of ways you can get in on the action. Site Layout

Bookmaker has a decent site layout, though I'm not nearly as in love with it as some other people. While they do offer a nice wide range of betting options, I personally feel that there are too many clicks required to place a wager. They seem to have sub-category after sub-category after sub-category, which is not very helpful when trying to make a last-second bet. This is a major flaw for the smart sports better who patiently gathers all possible information before making his bets. If you think this describes you, then perhaps this book isn't for you.

Bookmaker has pretty good overall customer support, though I have heard scattered complaints about them being slow to respond to emails at times. They also have a host of toll-free telephone support numbers, though you have to dig a little to find them.

Loyalty Program

Bookmaker offers a pretty decent loyalty program to its members. Players earn points based on the wagers they place, points that can be redeemed for gift cards, frequent flyer miles, apparel and even cash. This is a pretty good program, but don't kid yourself--it's not easy to build up a significant amount of points, so don't become a member based on the point system alone. Bookmaker offers a standard 20% bonus on your first deposit, as well as a 10% bonus on all deposits after that, which is a nice feature.
